The Colorado State University Men’s Rugby Club competes at the highest level of USA collegiate rugby, Division 1A. They are part of the Rocky Mountain Conference, where they compete against other universities such as the University of Colorado, the University of Wyoming, Utah State University, Brigham Young University, and the United States Air Force Academy.

Ram Rugby is highly regarded and accomplished in the rugby community. The team has produced numerous talented players over the years, and their exceptional on-field performance has resulted in a consistent ranking among the top rugby teams in the country.

The team starts practicing in early fall, and plays both semesters. They play 15s Rugby during the Fall semester and 7s Rugby during the Spring. There are 3-4 evening practices a week and games/tournaments on the weekends.

To provide members the opportunity to play rugby at the highest level possible and provide an inclusive and encouraging community.

Practice Details

The team has practices on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays throughout the school year. 

  • Mondays: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Wednesdays: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Fridays: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Location: All of our practices take place on Intramural Field Number 11. This field is right next to the soccer field and directly across the street from Edwards Hall.

Practice Details

The team practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. All are welcome to come watch practice and meet the team!

  • Fridays: 9:20 PM – 11:00 PM
