Financial Aid Resources

Colorado State University is committed to making higher education accessible and affordable for students from all backgrounds. As part of this commitment, CSU offers a range of financial aid resources to help prospective students finance their education.

Out-of-State Resources  

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Program: Provides discounted tuition rates for eligible out-of-state students from participating western states and territories. Under the WUE program, eligible students can attend CSU at a reduced tuition rate of no more than 150% of the in-state tuition rate. It can save you up to $10,000 per year. This program helps make higher education more affordable and accessible for students from across the Western region.

Green and Gold Scholarship for Non-Residents: Scholarship that can provide up to $10,000 per year to eligible first-year students who are non-residents. Colorado State University automatically awards this scholarship to eligible students and it can be renewed up to 8 semesters. 

In-State Resources  

College Opportunity Fund: Receive a $104 stipend per credit hour that will be applied to your tuition costs. Available for undergraduate students who are Colorado residents, and who are taking eligible undergraduate courses at Colorado State University.

Green and Gold Scholarships for Colorado Resident Freshmen: Receive up to $2,000 per year and can be renewed for up to 4 years (earn up to $8,000 over 4 years).

International Students

Transfer Students

Ram Transfer Scholarship: Receive $15,000 for non-resident transfers or $3,000 for Colorado resident transfers. To be considered, the applicant must transfer with at least 30 credits and have a 3.0 GPA. 

Honors Transfer Scholarship Through this scholarship, a total of $2,000 may be awarded to residents and non-residents. Must participate in the Colorado State University Honors Program to be considered.
